New Products I Adore.

Maybelline Lasting Drama by Eye Studio Eyeliner.  I bought this to try on my waterline and it has been awesome.  I have no luck with pencil liners on my lashline.  This creme/gel liner is applied with a brush  that comes with the liner and dries quickly to last a long time.  Waterproof is a must have and it works better than any I've tried so far.

Smith's Rosebud Salve.  Originally in a tin, they've made it available in a tube.  It can be used for lips or dry patches on skin.  It goes on smooth with a little shine and lasts longer than most glosses.

Wordless Wednesday - Ice sucks unless it's in my drink.

This is outside my bathroom window.  If you look closely you can see the layers of ice on all the branches.

Right outside the front door.  A thick layer of ice is covering everything.

These pictures were from this morning.  More ice, sleet and snow has been coming since then.  Lights are flickering now, so better stop the post!

Zoya

Recently Zoya had a promo where you could get 3 free nail polishes and only pay for shipping.  It was part of their Facebook fan appreciation.  (So, if I were you I'd follow them on Facebook and Twitter!)  I ordered Racquel, Paris and Kali.  With the order they sent a booklet that shows their colors and other products as well as swatches for their new "intimate" line.  I've never personally tried Zoya polish before, but have been hearing great things about it.  Many say it's better than OPI or Essie.  OPI is my go to brand, so I can't wait to give these a try.  What about you?  Did you order from the promo?  What colors did you choose and how do you like the brand?

Books for your Daughter.

Just Grace is the latest book my 7 year old has read and she LOVED it.  We're looking to buy the rest of the Grace books next.  Chapter books are her favorites and we've been looking for new ones to add to her collection.  Any suggestions are welcome.  Click the images to be taken to the Amazon pages to buy or read reviews.  These are all books my daughter has read and loved.

In other news Week 2 of C25K starts tomorrow.  Very exciting.

Couch to 5K

Today is the day. I started a C25K, or Couch to 5K. I've been really neglecting my running, so I thought I would give it a try. There is a 5K in April I want to run, so this gives me plenty of time. I downloaded an app on my Blackberry and hit the treadmill.Week 1, Day 1. This is what my app looks like. It talks to you and tells you when to warm up, run, jog and cool down. It also has it on the screen if you don't hear the prompt. Wish me luck. I'll keep an update here also as I go along.
